Help Us Improve New Brunswickers’ Access to Therapy
Through approximately 1750 counselling sessions annually, Just Us; We All Struggle Inc. assists New Brunswick residents in accessing barrier-free mental health support. In addition to our counselling programs, we lead educational workshops and advocacy work to combat mental health stigma. We know we’re creating change in our province, but we rely on your support to keep doing so.
Everyone deserves access to mental health services. Unfortunately, financial barriers prevent many New Brunswick residents from getting the help they desperately require.
By working with counselling interns, Just Us offers free or low-cost counselling sessions to anyone in need. We want to make sure everyone gets the help they deserve. But we also require assistance to continue providing affordable and accessible mental health care.
Why Support Us?
All residents of New Brunswick should be able to access the mental health support they require. Yet, unfortunately, every year, thousands of individuals encounter systemic and personal obstacles that prevent them from seeking help.
Just Us is putting an end to that. Our team of interns offers counselling for those who don't have insurance or the finances to access mental health therapy. At the same time, we’re reducing the stigma surrounding mental health through education and advocacy work.
It’s work that’s clearly necessary. We provide around 1750 free and low-cost appointments yearly, often to individuals with few other mental support avenues.
We’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact of our therapy programs and their transformative effects on people’s lives. We know we’ve been able to reduce barriers to mental health support in our province – and we aspire to continue doing so for years to come. You can help!
