Meet Brooke Foster

SHe/Her • Counselling Intern

Brooke is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships and connecting with her clients by providing a safe and judgment free space where everyone feels welcome regardless of their background.

Brooke’s experience as a mental health worker for a non-profit residential facility has given her a deeper and more meaningful understanding of what it means to live with mental illness day-to-day.

Brooke has completed her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a double minor in Criminology and Gerontology from St. Thomas University. She is currently working towards her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her dog and 4 cats, reading a good book, or doing a Sudoku puzzle.

Brooke’s approach:

While tending to lean towards Person-Centered or Solution-Focused approaches, Brooke knows that no two people are alike and is considerate of this, offering flexibility based on the client’s needs to ensure they are getting the most out of their sessions.
