Free Counselling for Arabic Youth in New Brunswick
Seeking help for mental health can feel overwhelming — especially for young people navigating life in a new culture, balancing family expectations, or struggling to express themselves in a second language.
Many Arabic youth in New Brunswick face unique challenges, such as adapting to a new school system, bridging cultural differences, or carrying the weight of family transitions. Having a counsellor who understands their language and culture can make all the difference.
That’s why we’re proud to offer the only Arabic-speaking counsellor for youth in New Brunswick. This free service, available in either Arabic or English, offers a safe, supportive space where children, teens and young adults up to age 25 can share openly, feel heard and begin building resilience and hope for the future.

How We Can Help
Common concerns we can help with include:
Stress and anxiety that can feel overwhelming or hard to explain
Low mood or sadness that doesn’t seem to go away
School pressure such as exams, assignments or adjusting to a new education system
Family or cultural transitions, including adapting to life in Canada while staying connected to traditions
Identity and belonging, especially when balancing two cultures
Friendships and relationships, from conflict to communication challenges
Sleep and routine struggles that affect daily well-being
Grief and change, such as losing a loved one or coping with major life shifts
Our goal is to walk alongside youth as they build resilience, discover strengths, and feel less alone.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), LCT-C, C.C.C.
Noha Rabie (She/Her)
Noha is a bilingual therapist, fluent in both English and Arabic, with over 15 years of multicultural experience working and volunteering with diverse populations from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. In addition, she has more than 5 years of experience supporting underprivileged populations in different capacities across Canada.
Noha understands that the unique challenges people face can often be demanding, emotionally draining, and at times isolating. For those struggling to process emotions, manage thoughts, or navigate their actions, she provides a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space to explore experiences, address both personal and professional needs, and develop strategies to enhance overall well-being.
She believes that there is no wrong doorway to living life—answers are already within us. By navigating inward, reframing thoughts, and regulating emotions, healing becomes possible. For Noha, recognizing triggers, raising self-awareness, and practicing mindfulness are key aspects of this process.
