Meet Olivia Faulkner

Olivia Faulkner enjoys creating a warm, welcoming environment where clients can be seen and heard. She believes that everyone is an expert in their own life, which highlights the importance of working collaboratively with her clients. 

Olivia has experience working with youth in her community who have various struggles and has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of support and a safe space. She has also seen the gaps that exist in the accessibility of mental health services and is passionate about making them more accessible. She is thrilled to join the JUST US team's mission to provide affordable support. She is deeply committed to collaborating with clients of all ages and backgrounds and recognizing their unique experiences.

Olivia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a psychology major and a sociology minor from St. Thomas University. She is currently working on her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Olivia is equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to support clients on their journey towards emotional well-being.

Olivia’s approach:

Olivia values fostering a space built on mutual trust and respect, while taking a person-centred approach and enjoys working with cognitive behavioural therapy. Olivia believes in helping clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, ultimately working with them towards greater self-awareness and resilience.
