Meet Raisa Mahru

Raisa believes in making a unique and meaningful connection with each of her clients, where they feel heard, safe, validated, accepted and are treated with respect, empathy, compassion and kindness.

She is passionate about helping people from all walks of life with their everyday struggles and helping them achieve their therapy goals.

Raisa is passionate about working with individuals and families and believes that customizing a treatment plan would allow her to help clients more effectively.

Being originally from Bangladesh, and her background has given her a unique perspective and appreciation for diversity and the unique challenges often faced by immigrants. She is very willing and eager to learn from the team of therapists as well as the clients she works with.

She is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. On her time off she enjoys travelling, reading, listening to music, being in touch with nature and caring for her pet cats.
