Finding Hope Through Estrangement:
Group Counselling in New Brunswick

Finding Hope Through Estrangement is a monthly virtual support group from September to December 2026 for parents experiencing estrangement from an adult child.

This group offers a compassionate, supportive space to process grief and loss, explore the complexities of estrangement, connect with others who share similar experiences, and develop healthy coping strategies while moving toward healing and hope.

Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, gain new perspectives, and receive support in a safe, respectful, and confidential environment.

This group is ideal for:

  • Parents experiencing estrangement from an adult child

  • Parents navigating grief, loss and the emotional impact of family separation

  • Parents seeking connection, understanding and support from others with shared experiences

Program Information

The program runs virtually on the second Monday of every month at 6:00 pm. Dates are as follows:

  • September: Monday, September 14, 2026

  • October: Monday, October 19, 2026 (date changed due to Thanksgiving)

  • November: Monday, November 9, 2026

  • December: Monday, December 14, 2026

We are only accepting 8 participants, so please register below as soon as possible if interested. The program is free, but donations are welcome.
