From Overwhelm to Balance:
Group Counselling in Saint John

From Overwhelm to Balance is a 6-session weekly group therapy program designed to help individuals aged 16+ better understand and manage burnout.

In a group setting with up to 15 participants, individuals will learn practical skills to regulate stress, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and set healthy boundaries.

This group creates space for self-reflection and supports you in building a more balanced, fulfilling life. It is ideal for anyone who is used to managing it all but beginning to experience the impact of stress and burnout.

Program Information

This program runs weekly starting Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 6pm-7:30pm. Based on registration, the sessions will be offered in person or virtually. 

Weekly topics are as follows:

  • June 4th: Understanding Burnout and Naming the Experience

  • June 11th: Stress Cycle and Nervous System Regulation

  • June 18th: Thoughts, Pressure and Inner Critic

  • June 25th: Values and Meaning 

  • July 2nd: Boundaries and Assertiveness

  • July 9th: Self-Compassion and Maintenance
